Manual Lymphatic Drainage
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) is a gentle massage which encourages the natural drainage of the lymphatic system. The lymphatic system runs along the circulatory system, and helps it bring nutrients to the blood & toxins away from the blood. MLD massage is great for clients just out of surgery, have experienced an injury with a lot of swelling, have swollen legs from sitting for long periods of time, or just can not shake a lingering illness. Unlike many other types of massage it is light, fast and rhythmic.
